HIS call and our commitment

God blessed me to lead a monthly recollection for Missionaries of Sacred Heart at Bangalore. The theme was HIS call and our commitment. I experienced the power of Holy spirit during the prayer time and had a vision of white cloud floats in the hall for a second, my eyes filled with tears suddenly.

Key point :
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
(1 Peter 2:9)
References:
CALL
1. Call with Grace Luke 19: 5
2. Individual Call 1 Sam 3:10 & Ex 3:4, 1Kings 19;19
3. Urgent Call Luke 19: 5, Gen 19:15-16
4. Humble Call Luke 19:5
5. Permanent Call Luke 19:5, Rev 3:20

This is what I do: I don't look back, I lengthen my stride, and I run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus. Phil 3:13-14

COMMITMENT
1. Steadfast commitment Ruth 1: 16
2. Sacrificial commitment Ruth 2: 11
3. Strengthening commitment Ruth 1: 21, Mat 1: 19-20, 24
4. Submissive commitment Ruth 3:5, Luke 1: 38, Mat 26:42
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:8 )
Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Rev 2:10)

3W will destroy 1W will construct

They say that 3W ruin one's life, viz,. Wine, Woman and Wealth. But many do not know that 1W, i.e., Word of God can build one's life.
The bad/evil effect of 3W can be cleaned by 1 W(word of God)

Small desire

Windsor Manor is one of the star hotels in Bangalore. I have seen this hotel only in the film. (Pushpak). I saw this hotel when travelled by taxi on 21 March on the way to Tumkur, near Bangalore. I just said to myself, when will I visit this hotel? I forgot it completely later. God listened even this small thought of mine and wanted to fulfil. I had an opportunity to dine at this hotel on 19th April.
It may look funny, coincident, or not of great importance in your life. For many, dining at Windsor Manor may be a regular activity. But looking at my past, I thank the almighty for considering even my small desire. If God has listened to me and happily fulfilling my desires, he will listen to you too. Do not give up.

Miracle, we witnessed.

It was a Saturday (18th Saturday, April, 2009). We planned to go for a shopping. Being a holiday, we had a morning prayer after our breakfast. Then we left. After driving down 2 or 3 kilometres, my daughter (age 8) started crying. Tears were rolling down from her small eyes, cried and told us that she has stomach pain. We do not have any other option other than returning home.
When we reached home, we found my blackberry in the car parking, lying down, which has slipped from my hip when we started. We became speechless. We just looked at my daughter. My daughter was alright by that time. She was normal and no sign of pain within 3 to 5 minutes. Why she was crying and made us to return to home? Just to pick up my blackberry. We praised and thanked our Lord.

Piles - easy medicine - PDM

I had a piles problem. Doctor recommended me surgery ( cost INR 8k to 15K). I followed a formula, called PDM, which healed me. You can also try.

P : Prayer :

Psalm 41 : 3 The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.
Mathew 7:7.
God is not a liar. So with full of hope, you ask. It will be given to you. Knock. He will open his doors. He will heal you. HE healed me. So he will heal you also.

D: Diet :
Avoid white rice, coffee, chicken, green chilies, spicy food.
Drink butter milk & lemon juice.
Eat wheat bread/roti, small piece of onion and fruits.
Drink water in empty stomach before breakfast.

M: Medicine:
God cares us and our Camel too. Because of this, we need not leave the camel untied.
Hence take medicine. Apply ointment. (Do not insert the nozzle of the ointment tube. The nozzle pierces the wound.use finger. you can wash it later).
Take ayurvedic medicines.

He healed me. He will you.

Beat recession with Bible

Slow down; Lay off, pink slip, salary cut, fear of losing job, debt …
Do not panic.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.(Psalm 1: 3)
God is not a liar. So whatever you do, you will prosper in it.

The only condition is,
But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:2)

Do not wait. Follow the verse 2 and sweep the promise assured in verse 3.

One day at Karunya University

I had an opportunity to visit
Karunya University near Coimbatore. It was 9.15 am. We were standing near the auditorium. Suddenly Tens of, ..., No, Hundreds of,... No, Thousands of students started gathering in the auditorium from all the corners. They were very fast, rushing to the Hall. We have never seen such big crowd. The Hall was full in 10 - 15 minutes. We were told that 7000 students have gathered there and it is a regular practise. It was 9.30 am. There was a silence everywhere. Suddenly they started singing loudly "Jesus....." The song went on.
My God!!!.
I do not know how to describe this moment in my life. I am sure God listened thier song and prayer. God bless them all.

The 7 Promises

(Thanks to pastor Benny)

“In spite of all that’s going on with the world’s economic system “your future doesn’t depend upon the world’s circumstances and standards. We are in the world, but we are not of this world. It is time for us to rise up and claim our godly inheritance! We can hold to the standard of the kingdom of God, and the best days for believers are just ahead!”
Promise 1 for 2009: A Year of Increased Opportunity
There is a significant difference between the world’s prosperity message and the Gospel’s prosperity message.
The message of the world is greed—“Get all you can get!”
But the message of the Gospel is knowing the will of God and using His abundant overflow to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. There are 2,250 scriptures in the Bible that deal with money, and the Bible focuses much time on how to be a good steward over your money. How you handle your finances determines how you handle your life.
“Where your treasure is,” Matthew 6:21 declares, “there will your heart be also.”
The difference between a nonbeliever and the believer is greed versus giving.
And that difference in 2009 will become even more marked as God pours out amazing opportunities on His children. God doesn’t always pour out a financial harvest first. Many times He showers us with ideas and breakthroughs that turn into financial harvest. And your entire life can change literally overnight as God pours out His wisdom on you. Those who tap into this outpouring of increased opportunities will truly be revolutionized during the coming months, and I want you to be one of those people!
Promise # 2 for 2009: Multiplication of Wisdom and Understanding
We are told in Scripture, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).
God’s wisdom is different from the world’s knowledge. You can get all the degrees and knowledge from the greatest universities and still not understand what God desires to do in you and through you.
Proverbs 23:23 tells us something that is truly remarkable: “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.”
How do you buy wisdom and understanding? You get it through the knowledge that God wants to pour into your life.
The difference between your today and your tomorrow is your information. And that information comes to us from God through an act of faith. Every one of these seven prophetic promises for 2009 requires an act of faith. You see, the only way to please God is through acts of faith. God is not moved by your needs, but He is moved by your faith. So when you act in faith, that action moves the hand of God. This applies to receiving wisdom, knowledge, and information from God, then acting on it to see great multiplication in your life!”
Promise # 3 for 2009: More Dreams, Visions, and Miracles
The Bible tells us, “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams” (Acts 2:16-17).
In the last days, God will pour His Spirit on all flesh and that will lead to increased dreams, visions, and miracles. We are seeing this happening all around the world. What better vision than the Great Commission: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19).
Promise # 4 for 2009: Heightened Intensity to God’s Leading
This will be a year when you will have greater supernatural guidance than ever before.
The Bible talks about the Holy Spirit as the Paraclete, the one who desires to take you by the hand and lead you where you need to go. He is the one who brings all things to your remembrance. He is the one who empowers you. He is the one who gives you deputized authority. And it is time that the Holy Spirit is the strongest and loudest and clearest voice in your life!
What a wonderful promise we have: “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel” (Isaiah 45:3).
The Lord wants to lead you to riches in secret places. He knows where the opportunities are. He knows where the ideas and concepts are. If you will learn to listen to Him, especially as you then learn to respond through your faith, He will show you what you should do, the roads you should take, and the doors you should walk through.
He is ready to intensify His leading in 2009!

Promise # 5 for 2009: Greater Ability to Discern the Intent and Motives of People
Wrong people never seem to leave your life voluntarily. They will stay in your life as long as you permit them to. “This will be a year when God wants to bless you and bring people into your life who can promote you and catapult you into a new season. Likewise, the devil wants to destroy you by bringing people into your life who will drag you down and encourage you to make wrong choices. If there are wrong people in your life, people who have not been authorized to be there by God, they will keep you from entering your season of blessing.”
It is so important to listen to God’s direction about the right and wrong people in your life, and during 2009 there will be a greater ability to discern the intent and motives of people around you.
Promise # 6 for 2009: God Will Fight Your Battles
Many have been through terrible struggles in 2008. Perhaps you are still involved in major struggles right now—perhaps relationships, finances, roadblocks, job loss, illness. God is ready to turn things around for you as you follow Him in faith this year.
This will be a year when God will silence your enemies. You will be vindicated from all that has been said against you. He is going to give you the plan, the strategy. He’s going to fight for you and scatter your enemies. He will renew broken relationships. This is going to be the year when God is going to fight your battles for you!”

Promise # 7 for 2009: A Year of Promotion of Increased Favor with Influential People
Promotion is getting ready to happen throughout the body of Christ. And this is going to be the year when influential people are going to enter your life. Get ready, for promotion is knocking on your door. You are going to be promoted. When others are missing opportunities, you will have greater opportunities because you are a child of God who is willing to act in faith. You are in covenant with the King of kings and the Lord of lords! God is going to authorize you to have divine promotion.”
Moving into These 7 Prophetic Promises
“I truly believe the Lord is getting ready to pour out these seven promises and I especially want to reemphasize the importance of promotion. God wants to promote His children.

Nirvana

Nirvana is "blowing out", blowing out of greed, blowing out of hatred and delusion. It is the state of being free from suffering and cycle of rebirth.

Funny world

Funny how we set our clock to rise at 4.00 am or 5.00 am to be at the job by 7.30 am.
Yet when Sunday comes we can't get to church by 10.00 a.m.
to praise the One who gave us the job!!!!!
Funny how big a R50 (or $10) note looks in Church,
but how small it looks at the Cinema theatre or at a Bar
Funny how we call God our Father and Jesus our brother,
but find it hard to introduce them to our family
Funny how we can't think of anything to say when we pray,
but don't have any difficulty thinking of things to talk about to a friend
Funny how so many church choirs sing "Standing on the Promises",
but all they do is sit on the premises.
Funny how people think they are going to Heaven
but don't think there is a Hell.
Funny how it is okay to blame God for evil and suffering in the world,
but it is not necessary to thank Him for what is good and pleasant.
Funny how we are so quick to take directions from a total stranger when we are lost,
but are hesitant to take God's direction for our lives
Funny how when something goes wrong, we cry, "Lord, why me?"
but when something goes right, we think, "Hey – aren’t I great!”
Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven,

but not immediately
