Madurai - place to eat

Hi!, I was in Madurai for 4 days. I stayed in Hotel Chentoor.


On the way to temple, you will find fruit salad vendor. Do not miss this fruit salad. Mixture of all fruits just for Rs. 10/=

Try road side Idly also.


I think no one at Madurai cook at home. There are lot of hotels available. Food is also tasty.

At least to eat Idly, Paniyaram, Puttu.... You can visit Madurai once.

Earthquake on 5th April 30 AD or 14th of Nisan.

On April 5, 30 A.D., Jesus Christ was crucified on the 14th of Nisan, the day of the Passover sacrifice festival of Jews. Bible says that there was earthquake and veil of the temple was torn.
