I received an sms advertising for a vacation trip to Goa. I notice my Gmail started popping out advertisements on a trip to Goa. My Facebook page started popping out an advertisement on vacation trips. This is not surprising to me because just a day before I spoke to our travel agent for sending our staff either to Goa or to Munnar for an annual excursion. It was just a call. No messages or emails exchanged. This neither first time nor happened only to me. Most of us are experiencing this every day. If you have not noticed this so far, start to observe.

Computers sitting another part of the globe is monitoring you, monitoring your calls, messages, where do you and what do you do. 

As on today, these monitoring is used only for commercials.

Google offers most of its applications free to you. Then how do they make money?

Data about you are collected and shared with corporate. These corporates market their products and services to you. 

In the above incident, the sms advertisement quoted less than my travel agent. Hence, by nature, I will be tempted to try the new guy because he is offering less quote. (Actually, I did not do. I am going ahead with my regular agent only).

Sooner, all Indians have to fix the government provided number plates only in their vehicle. These number plates come with a microchip containing the vehicle details. These plates are called HSRP, High-Security Registration Plates. (you can Google and find more about this).  So your vehicle movements will be monitored by authorities. Easy for them to stop crimes.

Since the paper format of Aadhaar is vulnerable to damage and loss, mAadhaar has come as a replacement. This is a mobile app carrying your personal and demographic details.

Similar exercises have been completed in most of the developed countries. Developing countries like India are getting into such digitalization. Third world countries or poor or yet to be developed countries are yet to get into these digitalizing personal details. Don't you think that all the countries will have these linking personal details to supercomputers controlled by corporates and government authorities?
